Chocloate Ice Cream
This summer,your kid must be screaming to have chocolate ice cream and you must be denying him, because of climatic changes. But this one is absolutely refreshing, and since you are going to make it at home, so the hygiene will be intact with the taste of the dish.
- 1 (8-ounce) package semisweet chocolate squares, coarsely chopped
- 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 3/4 cup sugar, divided
- 3 tablespoons instant coffee granules
- 4 egg yolks
Step 1-Melt the chocolate squares in the microwave,stir the melted chocolate and add the brewed coffee, keep stirring and set the chocolate mixture.
Step2- Take a saucepan, pour half whipped cream in it, then add ½ cup sugar,coffee granules, boil the mixture and keep stirring it until the sugar and coffee are dissolved.
Step 3- Now Beat the egg yolk and left ¼ cup sugar in the electric blender until the mixture becomes pale and thick, now slow down the blender and gradually add hot cream mixture into the egg-yolk mixture.
Step 4- Cook and stir the batter until it thickens and form a layer over the spoon.Remove the batter from the gas.Stir it then cover with plastic sheet and freeze it for 2 hours.
Step 5- Now pour the chilled mixture into freezer container and freeze.
Step 6– Your cool chocolate Mocha is ready to it you can serve ice cream with cookies,
Butterscotch Ice Cream
Though few people like butterscotch, but the recipe is tempting and easy to cook at home.If you don’t like strong or sweet flavor then you will be delighted with this recipe.
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups whipping cream
- 2 cups half-and-half (light cream)
- 6 large egg yolks
Step 1- Keep the saucepan over medium heat,add butter, let it melt, then add brown sugar,vanilla and cook it until the sugar gets dissolved.Simultanouslely whisk ½ cup of whipping cream, until the batter become smooth,Now remove the butterscotch mixture from the gas.
Step 2- Now add the remaining 1 cup whipping cream in the above batter and divide the mixture into parts.
Step3- Blend the egg yolk separately, add the ½ cup of the warm cream mixture into the egg yolk then pour egg yolk mixture into pan with cream. Keep stirring the mixture over low heat until mixture is slightly thickened, then remove from heat.
Step 4- Pour the batter through the fine strainer into a bowl and whisk the butterscotch mixture, cool the batter, and stir it occasionally for two hours or cover the batter and freeze it for one whole day.
Step 5- Than freeze the mixture in an ice cream maker, serve the softly frozen
